Lester Ellis Jr is the son of world champion Australian boxing legend Lester Ellis Sr. However, Lester Ellis Jr (who is also a trained boxer) marches to the beat of his own drum, opting to pursue a career in acting instead. He approaches the acting process with the same gusto, focus, and competitiveness as the legend before him, and is emerging as one of Australia's most promising young actors. In 2013, Ellis Jr completed roles in two ABC series back to back: Nowhere Boys; and the highly-anticipated Ja'mie: Private School Girl, in which he starred alongside Chris Lilley as **** heartthrob Mitchell. He'll enter 2014 with a bang, featuring in the Nine Network's much-hyped upcoming series, Fat Tony & Co.
